The sailing yacht was built by Dutch shipbuilders Vitters Shipyard, in 2004 and boasts naval architecture and exterior design by Dubois Naval Architects, with beautiful interiors by Rhoades Young Design.

Drumbeg is a closel sistership of Koo and Espiritu Del Xarey, also designed by Dubois and built at Vitters. She has a somewhat modified external appearance and different layout to suit the original owners requirements.

Unusual in a sailing yacht of this size, she accommodates guests over five cabins, as well as providing an additional 4 cabins for crew.
