Superyacht Hetairos has been relaunched following refit at the Dutch Vitters yard. The 66 metre yacht was built at by Baltic Yachts in Pietarsaari, Finland. The exterior of Hetairos was designed by Reichel / Pugh Yacht Design and Dykstra & Partners, while the interior was designed by Rhoades Young.
Hetairos was built for an experienced yachtsman, who previously owned a 1993 42 metre Abeking & Rasmussen sailing yacht. That yacht, now named Asgard, has also just finished a refit in The Netherlands, at Holland Jachtbouw
McMaster Yachts were project managers the refit of the iconic 66 metre carbon ketch Hetairos. Highlights of the refit included new propulsion systems, new engine room including engines and generators, new hydraulic systems, waste management system, replacement of key electric and electronic components and carbon ECsix rigging.
The whole refit took around 14 months to complete, and the yacht is currently back in the water, sailing off the coast of the Dutch Wadden Islands.
