Previously known as Galactica Star, she was built by Heesen Yachts in 2013 and sold shortly after she was completed. Designed by Omega Architects, Illusion was the first yacht to feature the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) that was developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, making her 30 percent more efficient than a conventional round-bilged motor yacht in this size range. The low wave profile of the design improves the yacht’s sea-keeping abilities and manoeuvrability. Inside, her sophisticated and luxurious interior was penned by Bannenberg & Rowell.
