Formerly known as Jubilee, she completed a year-long refit project at Lürssen in Hamburg in 2019 following a change of ownership the previous year. Originally designed by Lobanov, the vessel's exterior has been restyled, and her new interior was created by Reymond Langton. Kaos has a generous interior volume of 4,523 GT, which can accommodate as many as 34 guests across 17 staterooms. Powered by twin MTU 20V 4000 M73L diesel engines of 4,828 horsepower each, she can reach a top speed of 18.5 knots, with a transatlantic cruising range of 5,300 nautical miles at 14 knots.
