At the end of March 2010, the Vitters shipyard in Zwartsluis, The Netherlands, launched their latest superyacht, Lady B. The 44.70 metre sloop is nearing completion and the following photos show Lady B returning from sea trials at the end of April 2010.
Lady B, Vitters hull number 3062, is designed by Dubois Naval Architects with an interior by Rhoades Young. The interior design provides for a clean and fresh ambiance, as an emphasis on open space and light generates a feeling of exceptional space below decks.
She is being constructed in aluminium and will have a high aspect ratio rig with carbon mast and furling boom.Lady B will be equipped with PBO standing rigging to enhance performance. Her compact lifting keel system generates a variable draught from a minimum depth of four metres to a maximum depth of six.
