The 39.94 metre superyacht Maestro of Gibraltar has been sold by Peter Hürzeler and Jeremy Bottau of Ocean Independence. Previously named Villa Reis, the semi-displacement motor yacht was built by the Italian shipyard Mondo Marine in 2008, who also undertook her naval architecture and exterior design in collaboration with Sydac.
Luca Dini Design was responsible for her interiors. On board she accommodates up to eight guests over one master suite and three guest cabins, as well as a crew of seven. Powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M91 engines, she has a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. She underwent a major refit in 2012 which included a foredeck renovation and an extension of the swim platform.
Ocean Independence has given special thanks to John Wood of Gibraltar Solutions and, at the time of sale, the yacht was listed at an asking price of €5,900,000.
