Launched today at Amels, superyacht Nomad is the latest Amels 180 motor yacht by the Dutch builder and made a first appearance in Vlissingen this morning, showing off her unique paint scheme. This is the second Amels 180 launch of the year after the shipyard rolled out project 473 in February.
The custom paint job of Nomad was developed by her owner, together with the yacht’s designer Tim Heywood and Amels’ own design team. The hull is finished in a vibrant shade of blue while the inner superstructure is painted in anthracite grey. 
For the interior of this project, the owner drafted in designer Bonesteel Trout Hall who worked with the Amels interior specialists to create the custom guest spaces on board. Based in California, the studio specialises in boutique residential work.
The next phase in Nomad’s construction process will see her complete final outfitting and undergo sea trials on the North Sea before being delivered to her owner ahead of the upcoming summer season.
