Superyacht of the Week: Biscuit, a Filippetti and Hot Lab superyacht

Superyacht Biscuit , a 30 meters superyacht built by Filippetti in Italy, was delivered to her proud owner in November. The one-off custom yacht features a modern interior by Hot Lab: yacht & design.

The project stems from two factors: the interiors styling bearing the signature of Hot Lab Studio and the thirty-year experience of Filippetti family, now driving a new shipyard that builds unique and high quality craftsmanship yachts.

For the interior design the owner had chosen the elegant and refined touch of Hot Lab Studio. Hot Lab worked not only on the interior design but also worked in close collaboration with the owners on the decòr of the yacht, from the finest linen from Frette and the flatware from Chistofle, to the artwork in the main salon, created by Paola Di Iusto.

The construction of Biscuit, initially assigned to a shipyard in Calabria - Italy, was subsequently entrusted to Filippetti Yacht in Mondolfo, where the yacht was completed. Filippetti Yacht was involved in the construction of the superstructure, painting and assembly of all components of the boat: from the engines and steelwork, to the furniture. Biscuit 95' is a raised pilothouse model, offering two and a half decks, as well as large sundeck, partially covered by removable awnings.

On the lower deck there are two twin staterooms, the VIP and the master cabin, each fully equipped. A stunning full-beam master stateroom matches a mix of dark woods with neutrally coloured leather and steel. Her precious leather floor completes the decòr. Forward on the lower deck, the crew area has been designed to comfortably house the yacht’s crew of four.

On the main deck the brightness of the various area is again highlighted by neutral colors on walls and on ceilings. The main salon is both spacious and comfortable, and features a bar and an office corner. A large L-shaped sofa by Moroso, a coffee table in leather and ebony by Poltrona Frau, and an unusual looking free standing sofa by Futura are the main elements of the living area, further complemented by two armchairs by Moroso and two brightly coloured custom made poofs.

The yacht’s flybridge has been conceived for pure relaxation. The fly bridge offers a wet bar, bbq grill and refrigerators. At starboard there are two sofas. Each sofa serves a different function, one can be used for dining and includes a teak table for twelve designed by Hot Lab; the latter, an ‘L’ shaped sofa, can be converted into a spacious sunbathing area.
