Launched earlier this year at the Amels shipyard in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, Imagine is the first Limited Editions Amels 212. Her build went smoothly from start to finish, and she was delivered 4 weeks ahead of schedule with an unmentionably short snag list of five minor items. As her current owner's representative points out, the whole process was simply “stress-free”, something specifically remarkable for a project of this scale. With an LOA of 65.50 metres, renowned British designer Tim Heywood, along with Amels' own team of design specialists, conceived a contemporary exterior design, graciously combining form and function. Her fresh looks strike one as particularly architectural, with Heywood himself describing the design as “strong, athletic, feminine and sleek”.

Imagine's overall set-up is one aimed at living variously and stylishly, whether inside or out, in harbour, at anchor or out at sea. This is lifestyle, accompanied by every comfort imaginable, is essentially one that most every yacht owner pursues. With this vessel, one can stop imagining and start living.

Externally, this superyacht offers an impressive variety of opportunities for relaxation, be it al-fresco dining, enjoying the sun and a soft breeze, or simply relaxing. Various settings can be found on every deck level, making outside living on Imagine specifically appealing for those onboard. Spot on to what one would expect from a vessel of this size and pedigree, it's always pleasant discovering new high standards are being set, and met, for life onboard. Imagine's appealing lure delicately starts upon boarding the vessel, with her aft deck consisting of a lounging area of considerably size, where a set-up of contemporary and inviting furniture can be found. Executed in a soft, fresh colour palette, an elegantly subtle combination of soft materials, colours and a dash of pattern seem to be successfully designed at simply soothing guests into relaxation. Surrounding panorama views combined with a nice private atmosphere make this area a picture perfect sample of what this vessel has to offer.

One leads into the main saloon through dramatic round glass sliding doors, which, when fully opened, turn the main deck living area into a pleasantly blended area of interior and exterior delight. Centrally set in this circular, panorama surrounding is the main deck's dining area. Here is a striking example of one of Imagine's many assets; turning from inside to outside living at the flick of a wrist. This means fine-tuning the area's atmosphere to one’s own needs, from dramatic to intimate.

The front side of the saloon, continuing a sense of intimate contemporary grandeur, has been reserved for a large sitting area. Taking the previous areas to the next level when it comes to space, style and comfort, a collection of soft sofas, chairs and poufs is set around a grand centrepiece coffee table. Furnishings, upholstery, materials have been delicately balanced to create a highly customized, personal style; a setting that oozes comfort and style. Again, large windows supply nice panorama framings for this area.

To the front of the main saloon, a port side door leads into the vessel's eloquently robust galley, which is equipped up to professional standards. On starboard side, a hallway leads upon the yacht's main staircase. Here, lighting and materials playfully set the tone, with the artfully crafted wall decoration catching ones eye.

Descending below deck, part of the ships array of sizeable guest cabins can be found. Accommodating a company of 14, including the owner, no compromises whatsoever were made when it comes to the impressive volume of the guest cabins and, consecutively, their level of comfort. With four guest cabins situated on the lower deck, two additional VIP cabins on the upper deck and an impressively sized owners cabin on the front side of the main deck, beds are configured into five double and four single beds.

As mentioned, all cabins onboard are equally impressive in size and comfort. Each and every one offers the wonderful views we've inadvertently come to expect, one even more imposing than the other. All cabins are fitted with en suite bathrooms, where the VIP cabin bathrooms contain a separate shower area and bathtub. Set in a calm, soothing colour palette, modern lines are combined with softly shaped furniture to create supremely comfortable dwellings for every guest onboard. Great efforts have successfully been made to ensure the vessel's signature sense of space and soft, modern comfort. While every guest cabin has its own specific interior design, thus a unique look and feel, the overall design is one of clarity with variations applied to each cabin. Colours, materials, shape, lighting and artwork are all combined to create a soothing and refined atmosphere. The vessel's entire interior design has been created by acclaimed designer Andrew Winch who, together with Tim Heywood, works from a philosophy of originality and attention to detail, which is perfectly applicable to the overall concept of Amels’ Limited Editions. Winch clearly complemented the contemporary exterior with an interior of classic finesse, a combination which has clearly proven to be a winning one.

A pearl in Imagine's crown is the owners suite. When so desired, these delightful quarters of delicate privacy offer the perfect hideaway from life onboard. The luscious full beam master cabin, situated on the main deck, is separated from the rest of the yacht by a full size office space and circular foyer, which forms the entrance to the rest of these quarters. Arguably, the interior design of this area is a pinnacle of the entire vessel. Contemporary finesse combined with an eloquently classical style, obviously executed with high quality materials. Apart from the owner's cabin, office and foyer areas, these quarters consist of a walk-in closet, and his and hers bathrooms. In short, this area offers all that can be desired, and expected, from a superyacht of this stature.

Aside from the vessel's VIP cabins, the upper deck offers an intimate lounge and salon area, offering Imagine's signature style and comfort yet set in a more informal tone. Big, inviting furnishings are amply available here, set up in several areas to accommodate every occasion imaginable. Of course, a fully equipped bar and big projection screen are just some of many amenities to be discovered here.

Like the main deck, inside effortlessly flows into outside area, where the aft deck boasts a grand dining table for intimate al-fresco dining. Additionally, large sofas, chairs and a second bar complete this area in a more intimate, yet equally alluring manner. The upper aft deck area can be easily shielded from a chilly breeze by sliding glass panels.

Upstairs, the sun deck interior area houses the yacht's gym and sauna areas. On the aft deck, an informal dinner or cocktail party can be comfortably enjoyed, with a dining area at your disposal. Grand sunbeds and ample possibilities for shade offer undoubtedly many days of enjoyment for guests onboard.
