Superyacht of the Week: The 35 metre Foam

Launched by Admiral Tecnomar in May of this year, 35 metre steel displacement yacht, Foam, is the first of the Admiral Custom series, Classique 35. She features exterior and interior styling from The Italian Sea Group’s in-house design studio, Centro Stile.

The luxury yacht features a grey hull with white, tiered superstructure and a raised pilot house. Though interesting to note that Foam’s design is very much a mix between a classic and modern yacht, a particularly contemporary feature is the bulwark cutaway on each of the yacht.

At mid-ship the structural bulwark is lower to deck level, providing space for unparalleled views from the fantastic panoramic balcony which is accessed within the side passages.

This area of the customised superyacht also features full headroom windows, giving an abundance of natural light to the interiors and creating a light, airy and open ambiance for guests.

As well as the in-house design team of The Italian Sea Group, Foam’s owner was very much involved with the whole design process of this project. Following the owner’s specific requests in regards to the interior, the bespoke furniture found throughout the vessel is handcrafted, and finished to the highest quality.

A large amount of precious materials has been used in the road to attaining this luxuriously high quality finish inside the vessel, including a variety of different kinds of leather and stainless steel details. She has a sophisticated, chic colour scheme over all areas, which add to a relaxing and comfortable yet stylish and opulent environment.

The yacht easily accommodates her guests in comfort over a total of three cabins - all of which are located on the lower deck. In addition to the spacious guest cabins is the full beam master suite, which offers double access for her guests, and comes with refined en-suite facilities. The crew area is split between the main and lower deck, with the galley and crew mess forward on the main deck with dedicated access from the side passages and the three crew cabins, including the captain cabin, located on the lower deck of the yacht.

Outside, one of the stand out features of Foam is the size of her sundeck, which is the largest within this size range - and as well as aft beach club. This expansive area comes complete with large, comfortable seating areas as well as a shaded bar area. Among her water toys and tenders is an Avon Seasport Jet, which include comfortable upholstered seats, luxurious teak deck, telescopic bathing ladder, as well as high quality flush mounted stainless steel fittings.
