Superyacht of the Week: The 42.5 metre Codecasa Vintage

With an overall length of approximately 42.5 metres, the brand new Codecasa Vintage shows an exterior look that makes her appear elegantly larger than she actually is, an impressively strong and elegant design with a distinctly vertical bow line, giving her look a pleasant sense of confidence. Add to this form a more traditional colour palette of navy blue and white for the hull and a fresh image of a modern, stylish and slightly reserved superyacht has been skillfully captured.

As reserved and contemporary as Vintage's exterior look is, as fresh and light are the designs of her interior spaces. These are mainly based on white, with a traditional design scheme that instantly evokes associations of a breezy and relaxing Hampton-inspired style. Her main saloon is highly inviting as a lounging area, loosely divided into two separate sitting arrangements. The aft, adjacent to a starboard cocktail bar, being the more formal of the two, with a striped, L-shaped sofa and dark wooden colonial-style coffee table. The fore area offers a more intimate and pleasantly grand setting with an undeniably luxurious, U-shaped version of a Chesterfield-style sofa, executed in a crisp white leather, as a centerpiece furnishing. This area offers a perfect setup for enjoying each other's company, with the light colour scheme nicely balanced by dashes of navy blue in cushions and a second colonial coffee table as the steadfast visual focus of the room.

Vintage offers stylish accommodation for a company of up to ten guests, with 5 guest cabins configured into the Owner's quarters, two VIP cabins and two twins. Each guest cabin, save the main deck Owner's suite, can be found on the vessel's lower deck. With the two double and twin cabins being each other's mirror images with regards to layout, every guest cabin offers a slightly different variation to the superyacht's main Hampton-theme interior design concept, always working from white, combined with either navy blue or a fresh combination of blue, red and yellow detailing. Every guest cabin belowdecks has been fitted with a comfortable en suite bathroom, with luxurious white marble forming a fitting basis for the interior design.

Vintage's Owner's quarters offer the ultimate of amenities onboard with regards to space, light, comfort and privacy. With both his and hers walk-in wardrobes and bathrooms, the latter being separated by large central showering area and a full beam bedroom with additional office and sitting areas, this suite is comfortably spacious, especially for a vessel of this size.

Vintage's two main dining areas can be found on the upper deck, which has been designed with a central function of meals and entertaining in mind. The cozy interior dining room has been designed around a ten person dining table, resulting in an intimate setting in the signature white design. The largest section of the upper deck however, has been reserved for exterior space with a large al fresco setting that is comfortably private. Several sun loungers turn the aft deck area into an area fun sunbathing and relaxing.
