At this year's edition of the Cannes Boat Show, Italian shipyard Canados successfully launched the first edition of their latest luxury superyacht-line, the Canados 120 Enhanced, with an interior by Francesco Paszkowski Design. With this modern and refined vessel, the accomplished shipyard once again proves the recipe of fine Italian design and a conceptual approach is a successful one. Named Far Away, Canados shows us a sportive and glimmering 36 metre superyacht, aimed at guest comfort in a contemporary and luxurious style.
Far Away boasts an edgy exterior look, with her silver hull and aerodynamic lines attracting attention from Far Away. She wasn't just developed for the occasional cruise, but truly aims at offering a leisurely and luxurious lifestyle on the sea. This lifestyle starts with a design concept that combines combining interior and exterior living, resulting in various features that will undoubtedly surprise and please every single guest.
Feeling one with one's surroundings starts with offering easy access to the surrounding waters. With Far Away's large swimming platform and aft beach club, guests can go for a swim or a refreshing dive whenever they please. With the nearby storage of water toys and tenders, both leisurely relaxation and exciting activities are at guests' fingertips. The teak-panelled beach club also functions as tender storage, allowing for easy access and optimal use of space onboard.
Adding to this enjoyable feel of unity with the sea, there are four retractable terraces to be discovered throughout the main deck. When at anchor, these terraces enhance the inside-outside atmosphere, adding to the open feel in the main deck lounge and media room.
Due to large sliding windows and doors in these areas, guests can effortlessly wander from inside to outside, creating a natural flow of movement and experience. Whether as extensions of the main deck interiors, as private balconies or luxurious main deck sun and diving platform, these foldout terraces offer guests a wide variety of possibilities, enhancing and personalising their experience onboard.
Far Away's aft deck offers a large al fresco dining table surrounded by great vista views. Moving into the Francesco Paszkowski designed interior, the main saloon offers a light and spacious lounge area, with a sleek, modern and warm design. A colour palette of light grey, off white and beige is applied throughout, resulting in a well-balanced and calm atmosphere. Overall, the lounge feels like a cozy and contemporary room, with a large L-shaped sofa and a set of big leather armchairs as main furnishing. The big surrounding windows allow great views and lots of natural light.
Fore of the lounge, the main dining room is an equally spacious area offering seating for up to ten guests. Here, two sliding doors port and starboard side allow for a luxurious inside-outside feel.
Fore of the main dining room, the entertainment room offers two big daybeds and a large flatscreen television, offering a perfect setting for ample long movie nights.
Far Away is all about luxury, style and flexibility. One of the most obvious examples of the versatile nature of the Canados 120 Enhanced series is possibility to design the master suite either on the main or lower deck. With an office, private lounge, library or anything that a client would like to add to the layout, the series offers great flexibility and ample possibilities for customisation. Far Away's master stateroom can be found on the lower deck, offering a light, modern and soothing design with a luxurious yet minimalistic ambiance. Large horizontal porthole offer great views outside and add to the flow of natural light, while a fireplace offers a perfect setting for an intimate and romantic evening.
The master's en suite offers a separate head, steam bath and large tub plus his and her's wash basins, all designed in a light, elegant and modern style. The overall look and feel of the master suite is open and calming, with a colour scheme of off white, light grey and beige and luxury materials forming the subtle design. This is a master that is more about finesse than abundance, where luxury is found in amenities and applied materials such as leather, marble and satin, with delicate textures and a pleasant balance. A private lounge and walk-in wardrobes complete the full scope of possibilities for these master quarters, pampering and comforting every guest.
The lower deck offers a luxurious VIP-suite, similar to the master suite, with a full beam stateroom and large en suite, private lounge and walk-in wardrobes. Boasting a similar light and modern style, the VIP suite guests with spacious areas and a gentle ambiance. Again, an elegant fireplace offers warmth and adds a romantic touch.
In total, Far Away offers luxurious accommodation for a company of up to eight guests, with all luxurious guest cabins, each including an en suite, to be found on the lower deck. Upstairs, the flybridge greatly enhances Far Away's possibilities for outside living. This wide and spacious deck features living and dining areas, plus a big sunbathing area.
Far Away for any type of charter, ranging from active towards relaxing. The large array of amenities, luxurious design and overall interior inside-outside feel turn her into a perfect vessel that will pamper every guest.
