During the 2011 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, Codecasa Shipyards unveiled their new Vintage Series through the exhibition of the first hull in the series. A resounding success, Hull F73 (since named Magari) was met with great enthusiasm from fans and experts from the superyacht industry. A mere two years later, the acclaimed Italian shipyard experienced similar success through the launch of Magari's sister-ship, Hull F75, which was completed in July 2013. Same as the previous yacht, and still fully representing the identifying traits of the whole line, this superyacht was inspired by a distinct classic style, traditional lines and an appealing elegance which is reflected in both her exterior and interior designs.
Her exquisite exterior features are instantly appealing, with perfectly balanced lines that blend a vintage silhouette with the refined shapes of a true modern classic. From her ax bow to her grey hull and white superstructure, the Codecasa F75 shows off her confident gracefulness and a mild, personable nature that is perfectly engaging. She presents herself as friendly and chic, undeniably modern yet emphasising the rich history of luxury yachting.
SuperYacht Times’ Maarten Janssen visited the 42.5 metre motor yacht last week, and was highly impressed, not just by her style but also by her remarkable interior volumes. With her 479 tons GRT, the yacht is spread over three decks composing of two generous salons, four large Guests’ Cabins and a distinguished Owner’s Suite located on the forward main deck, all in addition to fully equipped service areas and comfortable exterior spaces.
The interior design, once again entrusted to the in-house interior designers’, Franco and Anna Maria Dellarole, recalls the previous hull in its lines as well as in the ivory finishing of the wood used for furniture and walls. The difference between the two is highlighted, however, in the style choices, especially the rich, dark mahogany wood flooring in all Guests’ and Owner’s areas. Codecasa's vintage F75 seamlessly extends her exterior classic contemporary elegance into her interior designs, which are chic, light, luxurious and pleasantly informal. Emphasis is put on a light colour scheme, accentuated by ample amounts of natural light and large windows throughout. Overall, the interior designs feel like a organic blend between luxurious beach house chic and classic townhouse, a wonderful combination.
Entering from the main aft deck, which boasts a great exterior lounge, the main saloon welcomes guests into a spacious and inviting area, consisting of an elegant lounge and an airy formal dining room. The overall lightness is contrasted by dark mahogany flooring and sofa upholstery, adding a sense of warmth. Although richly detailed, there is a calm ambiance here that will make guests feel right at home. This ambiance can be enjoyed throughout all areas on board, both interior and exterior.
A similarly designed sky lounge can be found on the upper deck, where two L-shaped sofas offer a wonderfully intimate setting, right adjacent to the impressively spacious aft deck with big al fresco dining area and sun bathing area aft, including sun loungers and magnificent vista views.
The full beam owner's suite is located on the fore main deck. These quarters consist of a large stateroom with lounge and office areas, and his and hers en suites separated by a large shower area. The design is lush and soft, perfectly luxurious yet subtle. Similar to the main saloon, luxury here means softness and class, rather than opulence. With regards to style, this subtle sense of style might well be Codecasa F75's most striking feature, with curvy lines and classic framework adding personality and the soft lighting scheme and large windows completing an atmosphere of airy, classic finesse.
The master quarters' gentle style can be found in all guest suites as well, with two lower deck VIP suites and two twins, with extra Pullman berth, offering lush accommodation, including luxury en suites, for a company of up to 10 guests.
An impressive panoramic sun deck completes Codecasa F75's range of guest areas, with a spacious and perfectly private deck framed by dramatic vistas. Large lounging sofas fore and a big sunbathing area aft, assure guests endless hours of luxurious relaxation.
With regards to performance, she is powered by the twin 1650 Hp each CAT engines and boasts a top speed of 16.5 knots, with a range of 4.000 nautical miles at 11 knots. The 75,000 litre fuel capacity along with the Certifications released by renowned Classification Societies make this luxury superyacht safe and suitable for long cruises in any weather conditions. She is still new and unused, and is currently offered for sale by the shipyard.
