Superyacht of the Week: The Jade 95 superyacht explorer

The Jade 95 is a refreshingly modern take on the Expedition Yacht – Built as a trideck the Jade 95 has the volume of a 37 metre superyacht, and features a four stateroom layout which includes a spacious owners cabin on the main deck.

The first Jade 95 was delivered early 2010 by the Jade Yachts shipyard in Kaoshiung, Taiwan. Both the interior and exterior of this impressive explorer superyacht have been designed by the in-house team of Jade Yachts.

The main salon is spacious and airy and showcases tasteful marble floors and counters. the main saloon and formal dining area are separated by a transparent water wall that brings the space alive. The dining room amidships accommodates 8 guests in comfort. At the forward bulkhead, doors open to the galley on port and to the lobby leading to the master cabin on starboard.

The large master stateroom, forward on the main deck has a calm and peaceful atmosphere Oversized windows provide a great view outside from the bed, whilst the full beam layout of the room prevents guests and crew walking past, and thus provides plenty of privacy. For guests, there are three large sized stateroom on the lower deck. All staterooms have the expected modern amenities of a yacht of this size and class, including en-suite bathrooms.

The bridgedeck features a spacious wheelhouse which includes a large L-shaped couch attached to the back wall, where guests can watch the captain navigate the yacht.

The full width upper deck lounge, aft of the bridge features a comfortable oversized sofa, and a bar.

The exterior spaces of this spacious tri-deck motor yacht are just as inviting and boast lots of space to entertain or relax. Alfresco dining can be had on the aft main deck or hardtop covered sun deck. Her large sun deck also features a bar and sunloungers. A unique feature is the golf tee, aft on the sun deck. When not used for playing golf, the aft area is covered in sunpads.

Powered by twin C18 Caterpillar engines, she has a range at an economical speed of 10 knots of approximately 3500 nautical miles. The vessel is designed and constructed in accordance with Bureau Veritas Classification Society (BV) Rules for Yachts. The class notation is Hull yacht-motor-S/A Unrestricted Navigation. In a world of copycat designs the Jade 95 truly offers something new with the safety of steel and quality construction from an experienced builder.
