With their latest project, the sleek and elegant FC3 100 named Nomad IV, Italian shipyard Maxi Dolphin presents a bold sailing yacht that is light, powerful and stylish. With comfort as one of her key ingredients, Nomad IVis a 30.5 metre LOA vessel of excellent quality and finesse, design by the French firm Finot-Conq and the shipyard's in-house Project Design department, with interiors all built by Maxi Dolphin and designed by Pierre Frutschi Architecture & Design.
The vessel has that distinct Maxi Dolphin signature, in the form of a light construction courtesy of advanced construction materials. Due to her lightness, Nomad IVis an impressively fast vessel, without compromising on onboard comfort and handling capabilities.
She has a particularly spacious ambiance, with an airy and open deck that is devoid of any rigging, giving her a particularly contemporary and slightly mysterious look. With the big, panoramic guest cockpit just aft of the low deckhouse, guests are able to perfectly enjoy Nomad IV's smooth cruising in elegant Italian style. Too big, U-shaped arrangements of sofas and lounging pads, placed opposite each other, give the main cockpit a great sense of privacy while optimally taking the surrounding vista views.
The double-wheeled working cockpit, utilises the excellent deck space aft, located just above the tender garage. With the transom folding out, Nomad IV's entire cockpit and aft deck area instantly transforms into a spacious and luxurious area for relaxing activities such as swimming, diving or simply lounging and taking in the magnificent surroundings.
With regards to her exterior look, Nomad IVshows of a silhouette that is strong, subtle, undeniably contemporary and minimalistic. From her bold bowsprit and axe bow to her slender hull and grand sails, she has a strong yet gentle character that is instantly appealing. A classic sense of style given a delightfully modern, elegant twist.
Inside, her pleasant and impressive personality becomes even more apparent with the main saloon that is light, cool and minimalistic. The colour scheme consists mainly of black and white, with vibrant red accents in cushions and on the high gloss dining table. With an L-shaped dining area and a spacious U-shaped lounge, the main saloon is an airy and contemporary room with vista views due to the surrounding panoramic windows.
A distinct black and white stripe pattern is found throughout the guest areas onboard, starting with the carpeting of the main saloon's lounge area.
Continuing fore towards the large port side owner's suite, the stateroom floor boasts a similar pattern which gives the room a strong sense of character. With lounge and office areas found in the stateroom, big en-suite and ample storage space, Nomad IV's light and minimalistic master suite offers great, stylish accommodation.
Modern style can be enjoyed in every room onboard, not in the least for the guest accommodations. With the master, two double guest cabins, one twin and one suite with one double bed and two Pullman berths, Nomad IV offers great accommodations for a company of up to 12 guests. All with luxury en-suites, ample storage space, and that light, modern sense of style that is vibrant yet minimalistic.
