With one hull already launched, the Sanlorenzo SD126 is the new flagship of the Italian shipyard’s SD line of luxury superyachts. She measure 37.95 metres in length, with a beam of 8 metres and a draft of 2.33 metres. Like every Sanlorenzo vessel, she is made to measure according to the preferences of her owners.
On board she accommodates up to 10 guests in total luxury, as well as a crew of up to six. The large full beam master suite located forward on the main deck comes complete with his and hers bathrooms, as well as a walk in wardrobe. Elsewhere on the main deck is the main saloon and dining area, with space for all guests on board to enjoy the fine dining around the table. This area is flanked with large windows, lightening and brightening the space and creating a welcoming, natural ambiance. Next to the dining area is the large saloon, with a comfortable L shaped sofa as well as two large armchairs. This leads directly out on to the main deck aft, where an additional eating area and beach club is found, allowing guests to make the most of life at sea.
The remaining guest accommodation is all found on the lower deck, where two double cabins and two twin cabins all come with en-suite facilities. Crew accommodation is also located on the lower deck except for the Captain’s cabin, which is located next to the cockpit on the upper deck.
On the upper deck another large saloon is found with a plush L shaped sofa, and two coffee tables have been placed directly in front. A small table with chairs is found in the corner of the room as well as a bar, and the area is inundated with natural light from the surrounding windows. This leads directly outside to an additional large dining area, perfecting the balance between indoor/outdoor living and providing guests with the option to choose between enjoying fine food whilst taking in the almost uninterrupted views, or dining on the main deck dining area in a more formal, sophisticated setting. Comfortable seating surrounds the spacious outdoor dining area.
Moving on to the rest of her outside areas, her sundeck is both spacious and stylish, and designed with entertainment and socialisation in mind. She comes with a large Jacuzzi fore, surrounded by comfortable sun pads which create the ideal environment to enjoy the warm climes the yacht no doubt finds herself in. Also found on this deck is a fully equipped bar, as well as a seating area for up to six guests. With plenty of seating on this deck, guests have the option of either utilising this space for parties and entertaining friends and family, or using it to enjoy the best of the yachting lifestyle, with casual al fresco dinners surrounded by spectacular views.
The Sanlorenzo brand comments on the SD126 line, saying, “The flagship of the SD line is a four-decked motor yacht made of composite material with a semi-displacement hull of almost 38 metres. Although she is imposing both in terms of interior spaciousness and overall dimensions, her profile evokes the harmony and elegance typical of Sanlorenzo’s tradition, and her shape recalls the great transatlantic liners of the 30s.”
In regards to her performance, she comes with three different engine choices for her new owners; either 2 x MTU 12V 2000 M72 1080 kW providing her with a top speed of 16 knots; 2 x MTU 12 V 2000 M94 1193 kW with a top speed of 17 knots; or 2 x MTU 12 V 2000 M93 1340 kW with a top speed of 18 knots.
The first SD126 to be completed in the range is called To-Tok, and was launched earlier this year from Sanlorenzo’s facilities in Viareggio. Constructed in GRP, she has a Gross Tonnage of 314 tons.
