Being renowned for their long range comfortable cruisers, Vripack designed a New Generation Explorer back in 2009. Designed for a repeat customer, with the elegance of a true Super Yacht, this year's Monaco Yacht Show was the stage for the stylish debut of E&E.
Jasmin was the Owner's first project commissioned to Vripack and, just like E&E, the Owner allowed Vripack full freedom to come up with a unique concept. A concept that started with designing a unique hull shape, based on a library of 50 years Research and Development.
Cizgi Yat in Istanbul were selected as the builders for this extraordinary project, and Art Line in Holland designed her eclectic interior.
Keeping a good flow in her layout and developing a softer and more mature look were key in the initial design concept. Additionally, the leven of sea going comfort of the Owner's previous vessel had to be maintained, if not improved, since this was one of many facets of which family and charter guests often raved about with Jasmin. On top of that, extensive testing and fine tuning had proven Vripack's statement that conventional yachts can go green when they are designed with the proper attention. And with the company's 50th anniversary marked in 2011, E&E surely proves to be a remarkable vessel developed from a contemporary concept or, as Vripack puts it; Quality is the sum of Workmanship and Enthusiasm.
With a LOA of just over 42 metres, E&E boasts an exterior look that is truly mature, with clean cut lines and a well balanced silhouette. With three decks and an additional sundeck, she offers a splendid refuge to a company of 10 to 12 guests, including the owner. Starting on the main aft deck area, she obviously offers the stately al fresco dining area one can expect from a vessel of this stature.
A big, comfortable U-shaped sofa set around a sizeable dining table and wicker-style chairs, all in a style that reflects the vessel's clean and mature exterior, yet warm and welcoming. A style that is implemented exponentially in the vessel interior design scheme.
Upon entering the main saloon area, one is welcomed into an environment that is warm and friendly, contemporary and eloquently designed, without becoming bombastic or overly dramatic. Combining different textures of different luxury woods, natural stones, clean leather and soft fabrics in a palette of off-white and earthy colors, E&E's welcoming friendliness embraces and acknowledges her exterior maturity. Several extremely inviting fixed lounging corners have been set along the starboard side of this area, perfect for reading or engaging in conversation, all while soaking up the outside views.
The main saloon is roughly divided into two sections, one sitting area and a dining area, that are separated by means of design rather than a physical separation, leaving a pleasant flow in the layout from aft to front, where the area naturally transforms into a hallway towards the front main deck. The main saloon's lounging area is distinguished by an emphasis on creamy colours, a setup that dips this space into a pleasantly soothing atmosphere, visually separated from the surrounding space yet open and inviting. Light leather chairs and a grande L-shaped sofa form the centerpieces of this room.
Forward of the main saloon, a central hallway can be reached. Here the vessel's central staircase can be found, leading to the upper deck where all guest cabins are situated. Here, glass bridges function as elegant walkways while the area successfully maintains aft-to-front views on both guest decks.
The forward main deck area is mainly reserved for the Owner's Suite, consisting of full-beam cabin, office area and grande bathroom. Floor to ceiling windows on both sides of the Owner's cabin generously flood this space with daylight, perfectly complimenting the interior design that is set in similar tones and materials as the main saloon, yet holds an individual style.
This is a concept which is seen throughout the vessel, offering different atmospheres for every space while maintaining a consistent design profile throughout.
All guest cabins are situated on the upper deck, each offering en suite bathrooms and ample natural light. Set in the vessel's signature palette of materials, these spaces were designed to be more colorful and less informal, offering comfortable retreats for guests onboard. Forward on the upper deck, a second saloon can be found, offering a magnificent panorama views.
E&E is currently being offered for sale with Burgess and Oceanstyle.
