Superyacht owner Eddie Jordan set to join the Oyster fleet with an Oyster 655, purchased by his family trust.
David Tydeman, Oyster CEO, said: "I'm delighted that Eddie is joining the Oyster fleet through his family trust's purchase of an Oyster 655. I'm sure he'll have a great time sailing the Oyster 655, which combines sparkling performance with great comfort. I've been a fan of F1 for years and admired Eddie's successes with his race teams and I regularly listen to his BBC commentary on the F1 Grand Prix. I look forward to welcoming him to our Oyster regattas and hearing his commentary after he's taken part! We're delighted that Eddie will attend the London Boat Show in January 2011 where we will be exhibiting an Oyster 655 and Oyster 54."
Eddie Jordan said: "Having taken up sailing in recent years with a smaller yacht, I'm really looking forward to moving up in size and sailing the Oyster 655. It will be great to be sailing in high levels of quality and style. Oyster is a great British company and, together with my advisers, we hope this is the start of a long relationship."
