Initially launched as the 85-metre Annaliesse in 2004 by Neorion, she underwent a substantial renovation project at the Amico & Co shipyard in Genoa, concluding in 2016 when she was renamed Queen Miri. The yacht underwent a comprehensive renovation, resulting in a thoroughly transformed appearance, featuring a bold new blue hull and an elongated aft structure exceeding 6 metres. The transformation, envisioned by the Dutch studio Bernd Weel Design, has rendered Queen Miri unrecognisable to those familiar with her previous incarnation. Furthermore, the Italian design house Studio Massari redesigned Queen Miri, introducing new features for enhanced comfort and amenities. Changes include a large whirlpool with a sun pad, spa areas and a convertible tender garage that becomes a heated seawater pool. Powered by twin MTU diesel engines, she boasts a cruising speed of 14 knots, a maximum speed reaching 17 knots and an impressive range of 7,000 nautical miles, thanks to her substantial 234,455-litre fuel tanks.
