The latest superyacht from the German Nobiskrug shipyard, the 73.50 metre Sapphire, has just completed her sea trials. Both the exterior lines and the stylish interior have been designed by Newcruise, who also worked together with Nobiskrug on superyachts Triple Seven (2006) and Siren (2008).
Her large sun deck offers ample space for relaxation and entertaining, with a large Jacuzzi and bar forward, and a raised sunbathing area aft. Sapphire accommodates 12 guests in 6 luxurious staterooms, including a large full-beam master stateroom on the main deck. Other notable features of the yacht include a helicopter pad, zero speed stabilisers, elevator, cinema and a large VIP tender of 12 metres.
Power is provided by twin MTU 16V 4000 M60 diesel engines, which enable Sapphire to reach a top speed of 17 knots, cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
Sapphire is listed for sale through Francois van Well of Merle Wood & Associates and Alex Busher and Jonathan Zwaans of Edmiston & Company with an asking price of € 75,000,000. The yacht’s central agents report that after the successful sea trials, a new owner can take delivery of this impressive motor yacht as soon as March.
