Although it may not be the largest yacht that will be on display at this year's Monaco Yacht Show, Shooting Star will surely be one of the stars of the show. Set to pioneer a new era in motor yacht design and performance, the recent addition to Danish Yachts' range of cutting edge superyachts was launched at the Skagen, Denmark based shipyard. From the drawing board of the renowned design team of Espen Øino International, the vessel formerly known as 'project 116' was befittingly christened Shooting Star.  <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/135953/image/large-8b7a144b0531b870cfccf2c214984031.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/135668">Ecofriendliness starts at the base, and in the case of this superyacht that means an extremely lightweight, carbon fibre hull, which undoubtedly is one of the notable factors in making this vessel the fastest one in her class, at 38m being able to exceed speeds of 47 knots courtesy of two powerful jet engines. Located in Monaco, Shooting Star is the currently the only way to get from Monte Carlo to Saint Tropez in less than one hour. Superyacht Shooting Star to star at the Monaco Yacht Show

The show is one of the leading exhibitions dedicated to the boating industry in the area and will feature over 220 exhibitors and 300 vessels. In actual fact, the average length of the current in-build yachts in Turkey is 49 meters, with many of these yachts being motor yachts and motor-sailors as well as gulets.
