The 54.86-metre superyacht Sovereign has been sold after more than five years on the market with a last known asking price of $23,950,000. The deal was concluded with Michael Mahan of Worth Avenue Yachts representing the seller and Michael Rafferty and Barbara Stork Landeweer from IYC introducing the buyer with help from Jim McConville of Allied Marine.Sovereign was originally built by Newcastle Marine in 2011, but has been regularly maintained and was refitted in 2020. The refit included updates to the galley, bridge and electrical systems and a fresh paint job to her hull. She features naval architecture and an exterior design by Murray & Associates with interiors by Claudette Bonville & Associates.Sovereign can accommodate as many as 14 guests across six staterooms consisting of two master and four guest staterooms. On board, she hosts a crew of 12.The tri-deck superyacht features a sky lounge with panoramic views, a barbecue and an infinity pool.Performance-wise, Sovereign can reach a top speed of 14 knots and cruise comfortably at 12 knots with a range of 4,500 nautical miles.
