Photo: Raphaël BellySeen here anchored off the coast of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in France, last month, is the 56-metre superyacht Surpina. Delivered by the Italian shipyard in 2015, Surpina features naval architecture, exterior and interior design by her builder. Unlike most Benetti yachts of this size, the stern areas of the main and upper deck areas are not open, but instead glazed with large windows that hide the main deck living area and the upper deck gym. Surpina has a volume of 1,051 GT, and is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000M53R diesel engines, which allow her to cruise comfortably at 12 knots and reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots.
