SuperYacht Company are very pleased to reveal our brand new, redesigned SuperYachtTimes.com. The launch of the new website kicks off a busy year for SuperYacht Company, with the addition of several new faces to the team in Amsterdam, the introduction of a more regular, bi-monthly edition of The SuperYacht Times newspaper, and various new and exciting projects that we are excited to introduce to the industry over the course of the year.
SuperYacht Company Director, Merijn de Waard, comments on the new website: “This has been a very extensive project. With thousands of regular readers who come back to our website every day, it is not easy to change something they are accustomed to. We have analysed how our readers use our website and we know this new version of SuperYachtTimes.com will serve our readers the best. As you would expect from SYT the main feature will be the latest news and this has been presented in a more visually attractive way.
“Another interesting thing we have learned in this process is that many of our daily readers are superyacht owners. While other websites focus more on the lifestyle and luxury of owning a yacht or on the business and the rules and regulations, our vision has always been to write first and foremost about the superyachts. Because of this vision we have not only become the daily go-to website for the global superyacht industry, but also the main website for superyacht buyers and owners. While the regulations are important and lifestyle pieces are interesting, every owner wants to see photos of his own yacht, his friends’ new yacht or the latest superyacht designs, therefore, like the global industry, they read SuperYachtTimes.com.”
In addition to a fresh new interface, we are also happy to be able to offer our partners and advertisers an array of extra sales and marketing opportunities, and a new way to connect with our expansive audience. Eddie Kloosterman, our Sales & Marketing Director, invites the industry to contact the sales department to find out more information at [email protected].
The overhaul of the site has been an extensive, ongoing project and, as is inevitable with such a complex project, errors or irregularities across the site may crop up whilst we are still in the early stages of the launch. We extend our apologies to our audience across the next few days if this does happen. You can let us know with a short message to [email protected], where we will work meticulously to fix any problems encountered.
