Amadea “will remain in the custody of the U.S. government, pending its anticipated forfeiture and sale.” The superyacht arrived in San Diego Bay, U.S. on 27 June where it will await its fate.

Silent Yachts has acquired a new-build facility in Fano, Italy, which has a number of modern and well-equipped hangers for the building and outfitting of the brand’s Silent 60 and 80 series.

South-East Asia yacht sales surge with 24m+ sector gaining momentum

There has been a surge in the sale of yachts in the South-East Asia region. Boat Lagoon Yachting reported record sales, with 85 yachts sold in two years; 42 of which have been new yachts.

We sadly lost two superyachts this month: the 49.5-metre Van der Graaf schooner Eleonora E sunk after being hit in Port Tárraco, Tarragona, Spain by a 60-metre rescue vessel.
