The ownership of Heesen Yachts company has passed hands and is once again 100% Dutch. The shares of the company have been transferred to an independent Dutch Foundation.  

Lürssen engineering centre in Rijeka to be a major investment in nautical tourism for Croatia

Lürssen Yachts has announced plans to further concrete its position in Croatia with a new engineering centre, which will be located in Rijeka maritime station. The centre is scheduled to open in 2025.

Porto Montenegro announces major expansion plans

Over the next 10-years Porto Montengro will expand into five neighbourhoods, close to doubling its capacity. Once complete, it will offer 850 berths, 315 of which will be reserved for superyachts.

Triple Bay Yacht Club: Saudi Arabia to build major yacht club as part of its 2030 Vision

Plans have surfaced for a Triple Bay Yacht Club in Saudi Arabia, which will have 120 berths for yachts up to 130-metres in length. The yacht club is a major arm of the Saudi Vision 2030.

Centouno Navi: A new superyacht brand by Manuela Lucchesi and Marco Arnaboldi

Centouno Navi will apply waterjet technology and sandwich composite construction for fast, planing yachts. The company has released two superyacht models capable of reaching speeds up to 58 knots. Page break test marketingMarket report

Sold used motor yachts TSOY graphIf we tally together the final asking for all used yachts sold per year, we can see there has been an increase in excess of €1m from 20220 to 2021. The estimated total value of used superyachts over 30 metres sold during 2021 was €5 billion, based on last known asking prices. This was two-thirds more than 2020’s €3 billion.
