Having embarked on her first exploration voyage as she is now in the hands of a new owner, the 107-metre Ulysses was seen passing through the Panama Canal’s Miraflores Locks earlier this week, headed for the Pacific. She is currently steaming towards La Paz, Mexico and is expected to spend the next few months exploring remote islands in the world’s largest ocean. Her sistership, U116, is currently in build where she is being completed in Bremerhaven, Germany.
