Superyacht Yersin’s interior revealed

Inspired by the owner’s childhood desire of exploring the world’s oceans and fuelled by the adventures of iconic characters such as Tintin and the Commandant Custeau, Yersin has been designed and built to achieve just that; cruising from the coldest regions to the warmest climates in absolute comfort.

Yersin, named so in honour of Dr. Alexandre Yersin (1863-1943), is a go-anywhere explorer vessel designed by Pierre J. Kubis, whom has now shared interior renderings of this mighty world cruiser. These drawings suggest that Yersin is not just designed to sail the seven seas in complete safety, but also in the highest level of comfort and practicality.

Developed using natural materials such as certified woods and textured leathers throughout the guest areas, Yersin boasts an interior where contrasting warm browns and bright lacquered surfaces create a serene and soothing atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

A large guest entrance to starboard on the main deck leads to the main staircase and elevator, which connects the main deck to the owner’s deck, bridge deck and sundeck above.

The owner’s deck is described as “the social heart of the ship” by Kubis and is home to comforts such as an owner’s lounge, bar and media room.
