The former yacht owner and Formula 1 team boss Eddie Jordan has died at age 76. A statement made by Jordan’s family on Thursday morning revealed that he had passed away in his Cape Town home following a cancer diagnosis in December 2024. Inside the main saloon is an antique bronze mirrored ceiling referencing 17th century Dutch architecture, while several shades of blue and a Delftware-inspired mural on the dining room wall are also a nod to the Netherlands. Salvatore Canzoneri has shared the renderings and details of Kossyra, a 67-metre island-inspired superyacht concept. The up-and-coming yacht designer made it to the finals of the Young Designer of the Year 2024 awards, in partnership with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/29" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Feadship (Company)">Feadship</a>, with his design. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/353182/image/large-cb1914a21320cc52b4ab8cc0a2f7712e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/353182">Described by her designer as “a floating sanctuary that captures the essence of the Mediterranean,” Kossyra is christened after the Pantelleria, an island in Italy formerly known as Cossyra.
