Designed by Sam Sorgiovanni, the designer behind the two Oceanco superyachts Wheels (Ex: Anastasia) and Nirvana, Barbara has a beam of 14.2 metres, a draft of 3.9 metres with an internal volume of 2,950 GT. Musashi was built for an experienced yachtsman in 2011 who previously owned Rising Sun, the 138-metre Lürssen. Inside, interior designer Sinot combined comfort with optimal user-friendliness, and combined the refined lines from Japanese design with elements from Art Deco. Musashi shares a nearly identical design with her sistership Fountainhead which was launched in the same year.
