The Allen Exploration Fleet in the Bahamas

Gigi and Axis yachts in the Bahamas Photo: Allen Exploration / @x_explorationCaptured here recently anchored in the Bahamas is the Allen Exploration fleet. In the middle of the family picture is the 49.7-metre superyacht Gigi. Previously known as Harmony, she was delivered in 2010 by the American shipyard Westport Yachts under the Westport 164 yacht model. Gigi features both exterior and interior design by Donald Starkey Designs while her naval architecture was penned by William Garden. The 498 GT superyacht can reach a top speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. Anchored next to her is the 55.3-metre  yacht support vessel Axis. Launched at Damen Yachting in the Netherlands in 2016 as Fast & Furious, she was sold to her owner following the 2016 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Now named Axis, the yacht is being used as intended by carrying a fleet of watersport craft, tenders and exploration equipment like her Triton 3300 submarine. The amphibious sport aircraft flying in the background is an A5, built by ICON Aircraft. Lastly, the sportfisherman anchored next to Gigi is a Viking 80 named Frigate.
