Superyachts in Malta for Rolex Middle Sea Race Photo: Rolex / Kurt ArrigoThe annual Rolex Middle Sea Race concluded this weekend after a fleet of 130 yachts from 29 countries made the 606-nautical mile return journey from Malta around the island of Sicily. The race set off from Valletta’s Grand Harbour which was looked on from a fleet of superyachts, amongst which was the Malta-regular and recently sold motor yacht Indian Empress. The JPK 11.80 sailing yacht Courrier claimed overall victory and the decade-old record of 47 hours, 55 minutes and 3 seconds remains unchallenged.
