Beside her is the Palumbo superyacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4735" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Taiba55.7m (182'9&quot;)">Taiba</a>; a one-off custom motor yacht launched by the Italian shipyard in 2015 and built to a design by Hydro Tec. Francesco Cianficconi Architetto designed the interiors on board which is an eclectic mix inspired by natural elements that has been finished with a variety of woods mixed with mirror and marble surfaces.

The project involved extending the main aft deck and adding a new Jacuzzi to the sundeck. Onboard, the 1,166 GT superyacht can accommodate as many as 12 guests across six staterooms. A new industry initiative has been launched by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) that focuses on the impact the yachting industry has on the world’s forests. But the time has come to pay more attention to the timber that is used.”Timber is a staple resource for the industry, whether that’s teak decking, masts and booms, or interior outfitting – you’ll be hard-pressed to find a yacht that doesn’t make use of the material in some form.
