Superyachts in Palma de Mallorca, Spain
The SYT media team is on scene in Palma this week to cover the 2016 Palma Superyacht Show, where Tom van Oossanen managed to capture two Dutch-built superyachts moored in the Balearic capital side by side yesterday for the first time. In the foreground is the Palma-regular Stargate. Completed by Oceanco in 2001, the 80 metre yacht is a near identical version of her sister ship Constellation that was launched two years earlier. To the right of her is Feadship’s 101.5 metre Symphony. The shipyard’s largest yacht to date was designed to carry 36 passengers, complying with the new Passenger Yacht Code (PYC). Designed by Tim Heywood,Symphony’sexterior decks offer guests a 6 metre glass-bottomed swimming pool on main deck, an outdoor cinema on bridge deck, and an oversized Jacuzzi on sundeck. Her interior design was created by Zuretti Interior Design.
