Following her sale to her current owner in 2014, the 86 metre Lürssen superyacht Quattroelle made her way to Dubai where her home berth is now located. Since then she received a new cruising partner in the form of a 56 metre support yacht. Having previously supported the 50 metre Trinity superyacht Sapphire, the toy, staff and provision-carrying vessel Red Sapphire Shadow is now known as Quattroelle Shadow.

Quattroelle Shadow was built in the U.S.A. by VT Halter Marine in 1981 to a rugged and functional design by Kirilloff &amp; Associates. She started out as Marsea Twelve serving as an offshore supply vessel, but in recent years has spent her life as a yacht support vessel thanks to her generous deck spaces, dive support and exceptional sea keeping capabilities.

Wide side windows and nine skylights in the roof also ensure that views will be uninterrupted, while her radar mast was engineered to span these glass skylights, supported by flat panel satellite hardware for broadband internet.The tenders onboard Project 823 have been stored behind the high bulwarks on the foredeck, to cleverly free up space on the lower deck for a large wellness area and gym located in the stern area.

New details have emerged about the shootout on Friday 28 April at 2:28am with the 50.29-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1068" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ramage & Ferguson (Company)">Ramage &amp; Ferguson</a> yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1737" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Kalizma50.29m (164'12&quot;)Ramage & Ferguson1906">Kalizma</a>, off the coast of Yemen. The cash portion of the purchase price was reduced from $850 million to $551 million after Inmarsat paid a $299 million special dividend to its shareholders in April 2022. The shares issued to the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4064" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Inmarsat plc (Company)">Inmarsat</a> shareholders at the closing represent an aggregate of approximately 37.6 percent of the total shares of Viasat common stock on a fully diluted basis, with no Inmarsat shareholder receiving shares representing 10% or more. In connection with closing of the acquisition on May 30, 2023, Viasat drew down on approximately $1.35 billion of its committed financing package, including a $617 million secured term loan facility and a $733 million unsecured bridge loan. The lower financed amount reflects in part the reduction in the cash component of the purchase price.

These include the improvement and expansion of green refitting procedures for yachts, such as eco-friendly paint and advanced water treatment plants. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226399/image/large-2e0a55e82cf6a21294548894f5e0b891.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226399">The company also uses more sustainable technology and renewable energy across boats, shipyards and related facilities, with LED lighting and solar panels. Palumbo SY Refit expands commitment to sustainability in yachting

Palumbo SuperYachts has announced that they will expand the company's commitment to sustainability in yachting with more sustainable measures.

Turkey-based shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4644" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="AKYACHT (Company)">AKYACHT</a> has announced that they have signed a contract for a new 100 plus-metre superyacht.
