Saxon brings more than 30 years experience in luxury yacht management and is regarded as an iconic and respected figure in the global yachting community.
Synchrony launched in January 2009 as a luxury yacht ownership program with year-round access to premium yachts positioned in North America, Europe and the Caribbean. Each state-of-the-art yacht is designed specifically for syndicated ownership and fleet access. The goal is to bring a consistently high standard of hospitality culture to the luxury yacht experience and deliver an extraordinary level of service and attention to detail.
Synchrony is one of a series of mandates taken on by Saxon, who recently launched the Bob Saxon Consultancy, which offers an array of independent advisory services to the marine industry. The Bob Saxon Consultancy specializes in consulting yacht manufacturers, brokerage, charter groups, owners and industry associations on the various matters associated with business development, operations and management in the global yachting sector. The business draws upon Saxon’s vast experience in the industry.

He is regarded by many in the industry as the patriarch of yacht management and charter, bringing a highly professional and rigorous approach to the effective management and operation of mega-yachts around the world.
Saxon has held a series of senior executive and leadership positions with prestigious industry brands. From 2002 to 2008, Saxon served as President of Camper & Nicholson’s USA, the largest full-service yacht brokerage, charter, management and new build specialists in the world. He previously owned and operated Bob Saxon & Associates for 15 years, serving as a leader in professional yacht management services. Earlier in his career, Saxon was President of the Sacks Group and Vice President of Whittemore & Williams, the forerunner and pioneer of yacht management services.
Saxon is also the Founding President of the International Superyacht Society, an industry trade group that supports the global superyacht industry and serves to facilitate best practices and networking across the industry at large. He is a licensed broker-manager with Florida Yacht Brokers Association and a leading industry spokesman and advocate. As an accomplished public speaker he has addressed a variety of groups and associations on matters related to the industry, served as master of ceremonies at yachting affiliated events and been quoted by a range of leading media including The New York Times, Yachting, Showboats, The Economist, CNBC, National Public Radio, and a number of other trade publications and media outlets.
