This week’s SYT 3D yacht of the week is the 88-metre super sailing yacht Maltese Falcon – one of the most recognisable in the fleet with her three massive rotating masts, each of which supports up-to five sails.Maltese Falcon was built by Perini Navi in 2006 with her iconic exterior penned by Ken Freivokh Design, who also completed her interior design. Perini Navi and Dykstra Naval Architects collaborated on her naval architecture.

The superyacht is currently the fifth largest sailing yacht in the world and is equipped with more than 25,000 square-feet of sails. Her sophisticated DynaRig sail plan allows her to reach a top speed of more than 24 knots, with a cruising speed of 16 knots.In addition to her advanced rig and sail systems, the 1,110 GT superyacht sports a three-deck layout. She can accommodate up-to 12 guests across six staterooms comprising of a full-beam owner’s stateroom and five double staterooms.
