Tankoa recently tested its new 50-metre motor yacht Vertige during her first sea trials in Italian waters. Vertige performed well under somewhat challenging conditions at sea and the shipyard reports that Vertige exceeded her contractual speed and managed to reach 16.5 knots during the first test.
Edoardo Ratto, General Manager of Tankoa Yachts, commented: “The first sea trials, which lasted about eight hours, were simply incredible. Vertige reached a top speed of 16.5 knots at 60% load (about 33,000 litres of fuel and more than 20,000 litres of water). S501 has a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, which really makes a difference when going for Atlantic crossings.”
Vertige’s design was developed with renowned designer Francesco Paszkowski aiming to achieve a balanced, timeless design with many amenities and facilities usually reserved for much larger yachts. She accommodates guests over six cabins, including a luxurious full beam master and VIP suite located on the main deck and four guest cabins located on the lower deck. In addition, a gym, home cinema, and a seven-metre tender garage will be found on board.
