Turkish shipyard Tansu Yachts have sold the sixth hull in their popular Mothership series, the 39 metre project Cutlass. Sales broker David Legrand of Fraser Yachts Monaco handled the sale of the project.
Shipyard founder and designer Riza Tansu is responsible for the military-like design that the company has become associated with, with Dutch design studio Diana Yacht Design taking care of the vessel’s naval architecture and engineering platform. Currently in an advanced stage of construction, Cutlass will be ready for launch ahead of the 2016 summer season.
Legrand had the following to say about the sale: “Hot on the heels of the sale of BARTENDER earlier this year the sale of CUTLASS marks a new chapter in the continued success story and confirms the solid value of Tansu Yachts in the current unstable economic market. Providing state of the art exterior and interior design by Riza Tansu, high quality construction, timely deliveries and reliable engineering, Tansu Yachts has proven itself as a world-class shipyard.”
