Integrated Marine Electronics Specialists Telemar Yachting announced that it will be providing Integrated Navigation Systems on two yachts now being built in Zuhai, China by IAG yachts. The two 40 metre yachts, project numbers 127-1 and 127-2, are the first in a series of yachts to be built by IAG, an autonomous division of China's International Audio Group, one of the fastest growing manufacturers of consumer and professional audio, lighting and video products in the world today.
Included in the packages will be Sperry Auto-Pilots, Gyros and steering gear. "A key factor to Telemar Yachting being selected for these projects is the ongoing support and depth of resources of our parent CG Telemar, particularly Telemar China", said Andy Gifford, Telemar Yachting's General Manager, "Telemar China has twelve technical support sites along China's coasts; we could not have had better local knowledge or been better able to demonstrate to IAG that we truly have a presence in China."
