Photo: Tom van OossanenLe Grand Bleu was built in 2000 by the German shipyard Bremer Vulkan and was at the time of her launch one of the largest yachts in the world. She features naval architecture and exterior design by Kusch Yachts, whilst Bannenberg & Rowell Design were responsible for part of her interiors. Le Grand Bleu completed a big refit in 2016 at Blohm & Voss in Hamburg with several cosmetic upgrades to her exterior. Powered by twin Deutz AG 4,570hp engines, she has a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
