She features naval architecture and exterior design by Kusch Yachts, whilst Bannenberg & Rowell Design were responsible for part of her interiors. Le Grand Bleu completed a big refit in 2016 at Blohm & Voss in Hamburg with several cosmetic upgrades to her exterior. Powered by twin Deutz AG 4,570hp engines, she has a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
