The 156m Lürssen Project Omar on seatrials

Written by Gemma Fottles

Following her launch on 14th November last year, the following photos show the 156 metre superyacht Omar completing her sea trials in Germany. Though details surrounding the huge new vessel are still fairly scarce, it is speculated that she will be the world’s largest yacht by gross tonnage.

She has been constructed by Lürssen Yachts, and features an all-cream paint job and several unique features, including the large slit in the hull on the upper deck and tapered rectangular shaped windows on main deck.
