Eliki in Greece
Perhaps not the prettiest superyacht by today's standards, or the largest, but when she was launched back in 1960, the 39.60 metre Eliki (then called Triaina) was considered a very large superyacht. I took this photo of her in Greece last summer, where she seems to spend most of her days. She was built in The Netherlands by Botje Ensing & Co, a shipyard that launched only one other superyacht, the larger Zurga, measuring 48.51 metres. Even though there is a considerable size difference, the yachts look very much alike.
