Camper & Nicholsons broker Steen Christensen represented both the buyer and the seller in the deal, and states that Mamay was not listed on the market before her recent changing of hands. He explains: “After working two years to secure the right yacht for the client, it was certain that he only desired to purchase one of the popular elegant Sanlorenzo SL104’s with a modern interior. Hence we, as his representing broker, exhausted every avenue to find the right yacht, which paid off as Mamay was not listed for sale.”

He continues to comment on the popularity of the Sanlorenzo brand, saying, “Once again this shows how the new line of Sanlorenzo yachts have become very appealing to buyers in this segment of the market.”

At the time of sale Mamay was listed at an asking price of €5,950,000 (VAT paid). Christensen told SYT that she will soon undergo a refit in order to upgrade her to her owner’s taste.
