The 37m superyacht project DAS by Verhaaren Naval Architects

Verhaaren Naval Architects have revealed their latest 37 metre superyacht project: DAS. This project has been has been specifically designed for day trips in the Gulf area, visiting the numerous tiny islands of this area, enjoying watersports or fishing.

Thanks to its hydrodynamical characteristics, weight balance and power/weight ratio, project DAS offers excellent sea-keeping and powering performances. Waterjet propulsion ensures safe shallow water navigation and high manoeuvrability.

The hull material is advanced lightweight composite. Weight saving and minimalism is a constant design matter either for outfit or interior design.

The superstructure is designed as one single open space with two large windows allowing light to penetrate the large saloon. When anchoring, these windows can open to offer a large panoramic view and a breath of fresh air. A retractable dining table is fitted on the aft deck, thus allowing sheltered dining or barbecuing.

Central stern garage and door are arranged to launch and recover a 12’ RIB tender or 2 jetskis. The aft garage features a bathing platform.

The whole arrangement and fit out of project DAS as well as the choice of material is designed for hot climates and includes an efficient air conditioning system.

Thanks to the experience and wishes of its Gulf customers, project DAS has benefited from all of Verhaaren Naval Architects fast naval vessels expertise as well as its wide experience of Gulf countries.

The superyacht will feature accommodation for up to six guests and for a crew of five.
