The 40.5 metre superyacht i41 concept by IP.YD

Greek designer Ira Petromanolaki has send us his latest concept, superyacht i41, a minimalist and sporty 40.5-metre motoryacht. SuperYachtTimes.com spoke with Ira, who explains the concept; "The intention was to create a contemporary design that combines luxury and innovation". Ira continues; "The concept’s fundamentals consisted of a yacht that could refer to motion. This guide line proceeded to a design with strong features and a dynamic appearance".

The yacht features large glass surfaces, which provide great views from all of the yacht’s 6 guest cabins, located on the lower- and main deck. Ira explains “In order to enhance comfort and pleasure in the interior, an important thing is to utilize the sunlight and create luminous atmosphere in every single space of the yacht". Two lounges, a formal dining area, a gym and a beachclub further compliment the layout.

There is no traditional sundeck, however the bridge deck aft provides some space for sun worshippers. The main aft deck is a large shaded space, with direct access to the swimplatform via wide central stairs.
