Support VesselPursuit in Nelson, New Zealand
Seen here arriving into Port Nelson on New Zealand’s South Island is the 50 metre Fast Yacht Support vessel Pursuit. The Sea Axe platform was launched as the very first dedicated Fast Yacht Support vessel in 2009 by Dutch shipyard Damen. Aimed at providing round-the-clock service and support for a superyacht, Pursuit is capable of cruising comfortably at high speeds in almost any sea state thanks to her patented design of her Axe Bow. Pursuit is equipped with a 30-metre open deck with a total working area of 230 square metres and 250 tonnes of deck-cargo capacity.
