The 57.49 metre superyacht Twizzle built by Royal Huisman in 2010 has recently undergone an extensive refit, including a full repaint of the hull and spars. During this process the rigs and EC6 standing rigging have also been fully serviced by RSB Rigging Solutions, just in time for a busy summer season.
Steve Branagh, the founder of RSB Rigging Solutions, says, “The weather gods have not been kind to us recently, with high winds meaning the stepping procedure on the 57 metre ketch Twizzle had to be delayed for a few days. However with a 12 hour window popping up in the forecast, the cranes were booked and the prep work was completed for the big day. Thursday arrived grey and overcast with intermittent rain, but light winds meaning the RSB team could set about re-stepping both masts before the breeze returned.
“With the help of Andy and Nancy Kitchener (7C Rigging) and the on-board crew the operation was completed with no problems and by 5 in the afternoon the boat was heading back to her berth before the breeze returned over night.”
Twizzle will complete her final refit work in Palma then head up to France where she will pick up her new suit of North Sails and RSB will complete her sailing sea trials.
