Presentations particularly focused on <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti’s</a> commitment to sustainability, which is a core value at the forefront of the Group’s activities, from emissions reduction to the energy transition.&nbsp;The second day was devoted to training, featuring panel discussions led by management together with world-class partners and experts. There were two sessions, the first being about “Propulsion systems and alternative fuels, with a view to environmental sustainability and compliance with new regulations.” The second session honed in on “Prevention of and response to onboard accidents, with a special focus on managing accidents caused by lithium batteries and new alternatives to hydrocarbon-derived fuels”. It will also have four docks for yachts up to 200-metres in length and three for those up to 155-metres.&nbsp;An additional 40 mooring points will be available and 25 refit spots on shore, which will be serviced by a lift capable of carrying 80-metre yachts.

The course aims to create real career opportunities for participants, such as naval carpentry, deck fitting, engine mechanics, the list goes on.The first edition of the three-month course officially launched in March, and will be held at the “Don Bosco” Professional Training Centre in Forlì. After this first stage in Forlì, the Scuola dei Mestieri will move to Mondolfo and Sarnico in September to involve more young people in the new project.
