She was constructed by the Abu Dhabi MAR Kiel shipyard (formerly HDW) in 2012, with Focus Yacht Design undertaking her exterior design. On board she accommodates guests over a large master suite on the main deck, three VIP cabins on the upper deck, and two double and two twin cabins on the lower deck. Interestingly, when Plan B was commissioned ahead of the financial crisis, an additional five yachts were also ordered at the same time. Suave and sophisticated but also welcoming and family-friendly, the colour palette in the main saloon and dining room, which take advantage of the full 9.6-metre beam, is based on aquamarine and ivory soft furnishings combined with warm wood veneers, natural leathers and full-height windows for exceptional light and panoramic views. The changes mean that Project Venus shares only the same technical and engineering specifications with her predecessors in the series. A noteworthy addition is the “shark tooth” motif, a design feature halfway along the side of the bridge deck that lends the yacht a powerful personality.
